The Uncommon Friends Foundation hosts its 2016 Uncommon Evening annual gala on Thursday, November 3, 2016, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gale McBride Pavilion on the grounds of the historic Burroughs Home & Gardens at 2505 First Street in downtown Fort Myers.

The annual awards program will feature tours of the historic home, followed by outdoor dining and entertainment as the sun sets over the beautiful Caloosahatchee River. The Uncommon Friends Foundation will announce the winners of the annual Business Ethics Award, student scholarships, and the Character Education Champion Teacher.

Nominations for the Uncommon Friends Business Ethics Award are being accepted now at https://uncommonfriends.org/business-ethics. The Business Ethics Award is presented in conjunction with Florida Gulf Coast University’s Chair of Business Ethics to a Southwest Florida business that exemplifies the highest standards of ethical behavior throughout the organization and in its dealings with the public. Finalists will participate in a special Business Ethics Forum to be held at Florida Gulf Coast University on October 21, 2016.
