Historic Burroughs Home Property Gets Much Needed Makeover

The historic Burroughs Home & Gardens located along the downtown riverfront at 2505 First Street in Fort Myers, Florida is looking better than it has in a century.  The home, built in 1901 and bequeathed to the City of Fort Myers in 1978, is under the management of the Uncommon Friends Foundation. The 2½ story, 6,000 square foot home is a fine example of turn-of-the-century Georgian Colonial Revival architecture common in Fort Myers at the time.
